Hashim narrated to us, Abu Mu'awiyah—who is Shayban—narrated to us, from Yahya, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah has protective jealousy (ghirah), and indeed, the believer has protective jealousy. And the protective jealousy of Allah is that the believer commits what He has forbidden for him."
