Musnad Ahmad 30:3831

Kathir narrated to us, Ja'far narrated to us, Yazid ibn al-Asamm narrated to us, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I have indeed intended to order the prayer to be established, then I would go out with young men carrying bundles of firewood, and I would burn down upon people in their houses who hear the call but do not come to the prayer." Yazid asked: "Is this for Friday or for other than it?" He said: "I did not hear Abu Hurayrah mention Friday, nor other than it, except like this."
