Musnad Ahmad 30:428

Yazid and Ibn Numayr narrated to us, they said: Muhammad ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Death will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and will be made to stand upon the Sirat (the bridge). It will be said: 'O people of Paradise!' They will look out, fearful and apprehensive that they might be removed from the place they are in—and Yazid said: 'that they might be removed from their place'—and it will be said: 'Do you recognize this?' They will say: 'Yes, our Lord, this is death.' Then it will be said: 'O people of the Fire!' They will look out, happy and rejoicing that they might be removed from the place they are in, and it will be said: 'Do you recognize this?' They will say: 'Yes, this is death.' It will then be commanded, and it will be slaughtered upon the Sirat. Then it will be said to both groups: 'Eternity in what you are experiencing; there is no death in it ever.'"
