Musnad Ahmad 30:429

Yazid narrated to us, Muhammad and Ibn Numayr informed us, they said: Muhammad narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "A woman entered the Fire because of a cat. She tied it up, so she did not feed it, nor did she give it water, nor did she release it so that it could eat from the vermin of the earth."
