Musnad Ahmad 30:507

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from Suhayl ibn Abi Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, when Allah loves a servant, He says to Jibril: 'I love so-and-so, so love him.' He said: 'Then Jibril says to the inhabitants of the heaven: Indeed, your Lord loves so-and-so, so love him.' He said: 'Then the inhabitants of the heaven love him.'" He said: "And acceptance is placed for him on the earth." He said: "And when He hates [a servant], it is the same as that."
