Musnad Ahmad 30:524

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Ayyub, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "In the end of time, the dream of the believer will hardly be false, and the most truthful of you in dreams is the most truthful of you in speech. Dreams are three: a good dream is glad tidings from Allah the Almighty; a dream is what a man speaks to himself about; and a dream is a source of sadness from Satan. So if one of you sees a dream he dislikes, let him not tell it to anyone, and let him stand up and pray." Abu Hurayrah said: "I like the shackles (qayd), and I dislike the iron collar (ghull). The shackles are steadfastness in the religion." And the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The dream of the believer is one part of forty-six parts of prophethood."
