'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, and Ibn Bakr [narrated] from Ibn Jurayj, [who said]: Ibn Shihab informed me, from 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz, from Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Qariz, from Abu Hurayrah, and from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: "If you say to your companion, 'Be silent,' while the Imam is delivering the sermon on the day of Friday, then you have engaged in vain talk." Ibn Bakr said in his narration: He said: Ibn Shihab informed me, from the hadith of 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz, from Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Qariz, from Abu Hurayrah, and from the hadith of Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah, that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying it.
