Musnad Ahmad 30:569

'Abd al-Razzaq and Ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, 'Ala' ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ya'qub informed me, from Abu 'Abd Allah Ishaq, that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The sun does not rise nor set upon a day better than the day of Friday. There is no creature but that it is afraid of the day of Friday, except for these two heavy ones: the Jinn and mankind. At every door of the doors of the mosque are two angels, writing down the first [to arrive], then the first. It is like a man who offered a camel, and like a man who offered a cow, and like a man who offered a sheep, and like a man who offered a bird, and like a man who offered an egg. Then, when the Imam sits, the scrolls are folded."
