Musnad Ahmad 30:598

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Indeed, Allah the Exalted said: 'Let not one of you say: "O, the disappointment of time (Dahr)," for I am the Dahr; I alternate its night and its day, and if I willed, I would seize them both.'"
