'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, 'Amr ibn Yahya ibn 'Amarah informed me that he heard al-Quraz—and he was one of the companions of Abu Hurayrah, as he claimed—that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever intends evil for its people—meaning Medina—Allah will dissolve him just as salt dissolves in water."
