Hadith 30:69
'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib and Abu Salamah ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, that they both narrated to him, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "When the Imam says: '{Not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray}' [Al-Fatihah: 7], then say: 'Amin.' For the angels say: 'Amin,' and the Imam says: 'Amin.' So whoever’s 'Amin' coincides with the 'Amin' of the angels, his past sins will be forgiven."
حدثنا عبد الأعلى، عن معمر، عن الزهري، عن سعيد بن المسيب، وعن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن، أنهما حدثاه، عن أبي هريرة، أن نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إذا قال الإمام: {غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين} [الفاتحة: 7] ، فقولوا: آمين، فإن الملائكة تقول : آمين، وإن الإمام يقول: آمين، فمن وافق تأمينه تأمين الملائكة، غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه "
