Hadith 30:71
'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, from Abu Hurayrah: That a man from Banu Fazarah came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Prophet of Allah, my wife has given birth to a black boy." It was as if he was hinting at denying his paternity. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to him: "Do you have camels?" He said: "Yes." He said: "What are their colors?" He said: "Red." He said: "Are there any dusky ones among them?" He said: "Yes, there are dusky ones among them." He said: "And from where did that come?" He said: "Perhaps it is a strain that pulled it." He said, and the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "And this [boy], perhaps it is a strain that pulled him."
