Muhammad ibn Bakr and Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, they said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, 'Amr ibn Dinar informed me, from Yahya ibn Ja'dah, that he was informed by 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr al-Qari, that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying: By the Lord of this House, I did not forbid fasting on Friday, but Muhammad forbade it. By the Lord of this House, I did not say: "Whoever wakes up in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity) should break his fast," but the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said it. 'Abd al-Razzaq said in his narration: That Yahya ibn Ja'dah was informed by 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr al-Qari, that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying.
