Hadith 30:74
'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Sa'id, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "The likeness of the believer is like the crop; the wind does not cease to tilt it, and the believer does not cease to be afflicted by trials. And the likeness of the hypocrite is like the cedar tree; it does not shake until it is harvested."
حدثنا عبد الأعلى، حدثنا معمر، عن الزهري، عن سعيد، عن أبي هريرة، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " مثل المؤمن مثل الزرع، لا تزال الريح تميله، ولا يزال المؤمن يصيبه البلاء، ومثل المنافق كمثل شجرة الأرزة، لا تهتز حتى تستحصد "
