Musnad Ahmad 30:790

Yazid narrated to us, Mas'udi informed us, from 'Alqamah ibn Marthad, from Abu al-Rabi', from Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Four things from the affair of the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance) that the people will not abandon: defamation of lineage, wailing over the dead, [seeking rain through] the stars, and contagion." And [he said]: "A mangy camel [infects] a hundred. Who gave mange to the first camel?"
