Musnad Ahmad 30:808

Yazid narrated to us, 'Abd al-Malik ibn Qudamah al-Jumahi informed us, from Ishaq ibn Bakr ibn Abi al-Furat, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Indeed, the hypocrites have signs by which they are known: their greeting is a curse, their food is plunder, and their spoils are stolen goods. They do not approach the mosques except reluctantly, and they do not come to the prayer except at the end, being arrogant. They do not befriend, nor are they befriended. They are like wood by night, and clamorous by day." And Yazid said once: "Noisy by day."
