Musnad Ahmad 30:841

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, I heard ‘Asim ibn ‘Ubayd Allah, from the family of ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab, narrating from ‘Ubayd, the freed slave of Abu Ruhm, from Abu Hurayrah: That he met a woman and found upon her the scent of a strong perfume. Abu Hurayrah said to her, "Are you heading to the mosque?" She said, "Yes." He said, "And for it did you perfume yourself?" She said, "Yes." Abu Hurayrah said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'No woman perfumes herself for the mosque, so Allah accepts a prayer from her, until she washes herself from it with the washing of one who is in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah).' So go and wash yourself."
