Hadith 30:85
Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is not one among you whose deeds will save him." They said: "Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Not even me, unless my Lord covers me with forgiveness and mercy from Him; not even me, unless my Lord covers me with forgiveness and mercy from Him," [repeating it] two or three times.
حدثنا ابن أبي عدي، عن ابن عون، عن محمد، عن أبي هريرة، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ليس أحد منكم ينجيه عمله " قالوا: ولا أنت يا رسول الله؟ قال: " ولا أنا إلا أن يتغمدني ربي منه بمغفرة ورحمة، ولا أنا، إلا أن يتغمدني ربي منه بمغفرة ورحمة " مرتين أو ثلاثا
