Hadith 30:90
Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Shu‘bah, from al-‘Ala’, from his father, from Abu Hurayrah: That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade vowing, and said: "It does not bring forward anything, but it is extracted from the miser." And Ibn Ja‘far said: "It is extracted by it from the miser."
حدثنا ابن أبي عدي، عن شعبة، عن العلاء، عن أبيه، عن أبي هريرة: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن النذر، وقال: " إنه لا يقدم شيئا، ولكنه يستخرج من البخيل " وقال ابن جعفر: " يستخرج به من البخيل "
