Abu Kamil and Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, they said: Zuhayr narrated to us, Sa’d al-Ta’i narrated to us—Abu al-Nadr said: Sa’d Abu Mujahid—Abu al-Mudilla, the freed slave of the Mother of the Believers, narrated to us, that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying: We said: "O Messenger of Allah, when we see you, our hearts soften and we become of the people of the Hereafter, but when we part from you, the world pleases us and we smell the women and the children." He said: "If you were—or he said: If you were to be—in every state upon the state you are in when you are with me, the angels would shake hands with you with their palms, and they would visit you in your homes. And if you did not sin, Allah would bring a people who sin so that He may forgive them." He said: We said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell us about Paradise, what is its construction?" He said: "A brick of gold and a brick of silver, its mortar is musk of intense fragrance, its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its soil is saffron. Whoever enters it shall be in bliss and not in misery, and shall abide eternally and not die; his clothes shall not wear out, and his youth shall not fade." "Three whose supplication is not rejected: the just leader, the fasting person until he breaks his fast, and the supplication of the oppressed; it is carried upon the clouds, the gates of the heavens are opened for it, and the Lord, Mighty and Majestic, says: 'By My Might, I will surely grant you victory, even if it be after a while.'"
