Hadith 30:95
Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Sulayman—meaning al-Taymi—from Barakah, from Bashir ibn Nahik, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stretching out his hands, until I could see the whiteness of his armpits. And Sulayman said: Meaning during the prayer for rain (istisqa’).
حدثنا ابن أبي عدي، عن سليمان يعني التيمي، عن بركة، عن بشير بن نهيك، عن أبي هريرة، قال: رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يمد يديه، حتى إني لأرى بياض إبطيه " - وقال سليمان: يعني في الاستسقاء
