Hadith 30:96
Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Sa‘id, from Qatadah, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Adam, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah prescribed Friday for those before us, but they differed concerning it. Then Allah guided us to it. So the people are followers to us regarding it: tomorrow is for the Jews, and the day after tomorrow is for the Christians."
حدثنا ابن أبي عدي، عن سعيد ، عن قتادة، عن عبد الرحمن بن آدم، عن أبي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن الله كتب الجمعة على من قبلنا، فاختلفوا فيها، وهدانا الله لها، فالناس لنا فيها تبع، غدا لليهود، وبعد غد للنصارى "
