Hadith 30:966
'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from Kumayl ibn Ziyad, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: I was walking with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in a palm grove belonging to some of the people of Medina. He said: "O Abu Hurayrah, the possessors of much wealth are ruined, except for those who said like this, and like this, and like this"—three times, scooping with his palms to his right, to his left, and in front of him—"and they are few." Then he walked for a while and said: "O Abu Hurayrah, shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Paradise?" I said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "There is no power and no strength except by Allah, and there is no refuge from Allah except to Him." Then he walked for a while and said: "O Abu Hurayrah, do you know what is the right of the people upon Allah, and what is the right of Allah upon the people?" I said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He said: "Indeed, the right of Allah upon the people is that they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him. If they do that, then it is a right upon Him that He does not punish them."
