Hadith 40:6
'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, 'Amir al-Ahwal narrated to us, Makhul narrated to me, that 'Abdullah ibn Muhayriz narrated to him, that Abu Mahdhurah narrated to him: That the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, taught him the Adhan as nineteen words, and the Iqamah as seventeen words. The Adhan: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, I bear witness that there is no god but Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; Come to prayer, come to prayer; Come to success, come to success; Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; There is no god but Allah." And the Iqamah is two by two: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; I bear witness that there is no god but Allah; I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; Come to prayer, come to prayer; Come to success, come to success; The prayer has begun, the prayer has begun; Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest; There is no god but Allah."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا همام، حدثنا عامر الأحول، حدثني مكحول، أن عبد الله بن محيريز حدثه، أن أبا محذورة حدثه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم علمه الأذان تسع عشرة كلمة، والإقامة سبع عشرة كلمة، الأذان: " الله أكبر الله أكبر، أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله، أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله، حي على الصلاة، حي على الصلاة، حي على الفلاح، حي على الفلاح، الله أكبر، الله أكبر، لا إله إلا الله، والإقامة مثنى، مثنى، الله أكبر، الله أكبر ، أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله، أشهد أن محمدا رسول الله، حي على الصلاة، حي على الصلاة، حي على الفلاح، حي على الفلاح، قد قامت الصلاة، قد قامت الصلاة، الله أكبر، الله أكبر، لا إله إلا الله " . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
