Musnad Ahmad 6:7

'Ali ibn 'Abdullah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ma'n al-Ghafari narrated to me, Dawud ibn Khalid ibn Dinar informed me, that he and a man called Abu Yusuf from the tribe of Taym passed by Rabi'ah ibn Abi 'Abd al-Rahman. Abu Yusuf said to him: "We indeed find with others besides you hadith that we do not find with you." He said: "As for me, I have much hadith, but Rabi'ah ibn al-Hudayr—and he used to accompany Talhah ibn 'Ubayd Allah—said: 'Talhah never narrated a single hadith from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, except for one hadith.'" Rabi'ah ibn Abi 'Abd al-Rahman said: "I said to him: 'And what is it?'" He said: "Talhah said to me: 'We went out with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, until when we overlooked Harrah Waqim, we drew near to it, and there were graves at a bend. We said: "O Messenger of Allah, are these the graves of our brothers?" He said: "The graves of our companions."'" "Then we went out until we came to the graves of the martyrs. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: 'These are the graves of our brothers.'"
