Musnad Ahmad 31:121

Abdullah ibn al-Harith narrated to us, al-Awza’i narrated to me, from Ibn Shihab, from ‘Ata’ ibn Yazid al-Laythi, from Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, that a Bedouin asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about migration. He said: "Woe to you, the matter of migration is severe. Do you have camels?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Do you pay their charity?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Do you give from them as gifts?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Do you milk them on the day they come to water?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then work beyond the seas as you wish, for Allah will not leave anything of your deeds [unrewarded]."
