Musnad Ahmad 31:135

Mus’ab ibn al-Miqdam and Hujayn ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, they said: Isra’il narrated to us, Abdullah ibn ‘Ismah al-‘Ijli narrated to us, he said: I heard Abu Sa’id al-Khudri saying: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, took the banner and shook it, then said: "Who will take it by its right?" So a certain man came and said: "I." He said: "Step aside." Then another man came, and he said: "Step aside." Then the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "By the One who honored the face of Muhammad, I will surely give it to a man who does not flee. Take it, O Ali." So he set off until Allah granted him the conquest of Khaybar and Fadak, and he brought their dates and their dried meat. Mus’ab said: "Its dates and its dried meat."
