Musnad Ahmad 31:140

Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham narrated to us, Shayban Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, Firas ibn Yahya al-Hamdani narrated to us, from 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A man entered Paradise who had never done a good deed at all. He said to his family when death approached him: 'When I die, burn me, then crush me, then scatter half of me in the sea and half of me on the land.' So Allah commanded the land and the sea, and they gathered him. Then He said: 'What compelled you to do what you did?' He said: 'Fear of You.' He said: 'So He forgave him for that.'"
