Musnad Ahmad 31:255

Abu Salamah narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Bilal informed us, from Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Nahar al-Abdi, that he heard him narrating from Abu Sa’id, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Verily, Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, will ask the servant on the Day of Resurrection until He says: 'What prevented you, when you saw the evil, from denouncing it?' So when Allah inspires a servant with his argument, he will say: 'O my Lord, I trusted in You, and I feared the people.'"
