Hadith 31:258
Khalaf ibn al-Walid narrated to us, he said: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Sa'id al-Jurayri, from Abu Nadra, from Abu Sa'id, he said: When the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) would acquire a new garment, he would name it by its name—a shirt or a turban—then he would say: "O Allah, to You is the praise. You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its good and the good of that for which it was made, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil of that for which it was made."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
