Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Ibn Lahi'ah informed us, from Bukayr, from Abu Bakr ibn al-Munkadir, from 'Amr ibn Sulaym al-Zuraqi, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Sa'id al-Khudri, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Ghusl (full ritual washing) on the day of Jumu'ah is [incumbent] upon every person who has reached puberty, as well as the use of the siwak (tooth stick), and that he should apply whatever perfume he is able to, even if it is the perfume of his wife."
