Musnad Ahmad 31:287

Waki’ narrated to us, Mis’ar narrated to us, from Zayd al-‘Ammi, from Abu al-Siddiq, from Abu Sa’id al-Khudri: "A man was brought to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace — Mis’ar said: I think it was regarding an intoxicant — and the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, struck him with two sandals forty times."
