Musnad Ahmad 31:29

Ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Dawud, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa’id, who said: A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, we are in a land of dabb (lizards), so what do you command us?" — or: "What do you advise us?" He said: "It was mentioned to me that a nation from the Children of Israel was transformed." He neither commanded nor forbade it. Abu Sa’id said: When some time had passed after that, ‘Umar said: "Indeed, Allah benefits many a person through it, and it is the food of the common shepherds. If I had some, I would eat it." And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, only disliked it.
