Musnad Ahmad 31:300

Yazid narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, from Ubayd Allah ibn al-Mughirah ibn Mu'ayqib, from 'Amr ibn Sulaym—Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: And someone other than Yazid ibn Harun said: From Sulayman ibn 'Amr ibn al-'Atwari, and he is Abu al-Haytham—and he was under the guardianship of Abu Sa'id—from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, and from Abu al-Zinad, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, both of them said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Allah, I take a covenant with You that You will not break for me. For I am only a human being, so whichever of the believers I have harmed, or insulted—or he said: cursed—or whipped, then make it for him a prayer, a purification, and a means of nearness by which You draw him near to You on the Day of Resurrection."
