Surayj narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Agharr Abu Muslim, who said: I bear witness regarding Abu Sa'id and Abu Hurayrah that they both bore witness regarding the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he said: "Indeed, Allah grants respite until, when it is the third of the night, He descends, and He says: 'Is there any petitioner to be given? Is there any seeker of forgiveness for a sin? Is there any supplicant to be answered?'"
