'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, al-Mustamir ibn al-Rayyan al-Iyadi narrated to us, Abu Nadra al-'Abdi narrated to us, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned the world and said: "Indeed, the world is green and sweet, so fear it and fear women." Then he mentioned three women from the Children of Israel: two tall women who were known, and a short woman who was not known. She took two legs made of wood, and she fashioned a ring, and she filled it with the best of perfumes, musk, and she made a lid for it. So when she passed by a gathering or a council, she would do this with it: she would open it, and its scent would spread. Al-Mustamir said: "With his left little finger, and he extended it beyond his three fingers slightly, and he clenched the three."
