Musnad Ahmad 31:470

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Qays ibn Muslim, from Tariq ibn Shihab, who said: The first to deliver the sermon before the prayer was Marwan. A man stood up and said: "O Marwan, you have contradicted the Sunnah." He said: "Leave what is there, O Abu so-and-so." Abu Sa'id said: "As for this one, he has fulfilled what was upon him. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith.'"
