Yazid ibn Harun narrated to us, Hisham informed us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman, who said: Abu Rifa’ah narrated to me that Abu Sa’id al-Khudri said: A man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, I have a slave girl, and I practice *‘azl* (coitus interruptus) with her. I desire what a man desires, but I dislike that she should become pregnant. And the Jews claim that *‘azl* is the 'minor infanticide'." He said: "The Jews have lied. If Allah wills to create him, no one can prevent it."
