Musnad Ahmad 31:502

Muhammad ibn Ubayd narrated to us, al-A’mash narrated to us, from Isma’il ibn Raja’, from his father, who said: The first to bring out the pulpit on the day of Eid was Marwan, and he was the first to begin with the sermon before the prayer. A man stood up and said: "O Marwan, you have contradicted the Sunnah. You brought out the pulpit, and it was not brought out, and you began with the sermon before the prayer." Abu Sa’id said: "Who is this?" They said: "So-and-so, son of so-and-so." He said: "As for this one, he has fulfilled what was upon him. I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'Whoever sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; and if he cannot, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith.'"
