Waki’ narrated to us, Fudayl ibn Marzuq narrated to me, from ‘Atiyyah, from Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, who said: A man asked him about the *ghusl* (ritual bath) for *janabah* (major ritual impurity), and he said: "Three times." The man said: "I have a lot of hair." Abu Sa’id said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had more hair than you, and was better."
