'Affan narrated to us, 'Abd al-Warith narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Suhayb narrated to us, Abu Nadra narrated to us, from Abu Sa'id: "That Gabriel, peace be upon him, came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: 'Are you suffering, O Muhammad?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'In the name of Allah, I perform *ruqyah* (incantation) upon you from everything that harms you, from the evil of every eye or soul, may He heal you. In the name of Allah, I perform *ruqyah* upon you.'"
