Musnad Ahmad 31:546

'Affan narrated to us, Hammam narrated to us, Zayd ibn Aslam informed us, from 'Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "Do not write anything from me other than the Qur'an. Whoever has written anything from me other than the Qur'an, let him erase it." And he said: "Narrate from the Children of Israel, and there is no harm. Narrate from me, and do not lie about me." He said: "And whoever lies about me—Hammam said: I think he said: intentionally—let him take his seat in the Fire."
