Muhammad ibn Rabi‘ah narrated to us, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan—meaning Ibn ‘Atiyyah al-‘Awfi—narrated to us, from his father, from his grandfather, from Abu Sa‘id, who said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, cursed the wailing woman and the woman who listens to her."
