Hadith 31:632
Yunus narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Zayd—narrated to us, Bishr ibn Harb narrated to us, I heard Abu Sa’id al-Khudri narrating, he said: We went on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to Fadak and Khaybar. He said: Allah granted His Messenger victory over Fadak and Khaybar, and the people fell upon a vegetable of theirs, this garlic and onion. He said: They went to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he perceived its odor, and he was offended by it. Then the people returned, and he said: "Beware, do not eat it. Whoever eats anything of it, let him not approach our gathering." He said: And the people fell upon the meat of domestic donkeys on the day of Khaybar, and they set up cooking pots. My pot was set up among those who set them up. That reached the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and he said: "I forbid you from it, I forbid you from it," twice. So the pots were overturned, and I overturned my pot among those who overturned theirs.
