Abd al-Muta'al narrated to us, Yahya bin Sa'id al-Umawi narrated to us, Mujalid narrated to us, from Abu al-Wadak, from Abu Sa'id, who said: "Ibn Sayyad was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and Umar said: 'He claims that he does not pass by anything except that it speaks to him.'" 11754 - Uthman bin Muhammad narrated to us, Abdullah said: And I heard it myself from Uthman, Jarir narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Paradise and Hell disputed. The Hell said: 'In me are the tyrants and the arrogant.' And Paradise said: 'In me are the weak of the people and their poor.' He said: So He judged between them: 'You, Paradise, are My mercy; I show mercy through you to whom I will. And you, Hell, are My punishment; I punish through you whom I will. And for both of you, it is upon Me to fill you.'" 11755 - Uthman bin Muhammad narrated to us, Abdullah said: And I heard it myself from Uthman, Jarir narrated to us, from Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, from Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Nu'm, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "The one in ihram may kill: the viper, the scorpion, the kite, the vicious dog, and the 'fuwaysiqah' (little wicked one)." I said: "What is the 'fuwaysiqah'?" He said: "The mouse." I said: "And what is the matter with the mouse?" He said: "The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, woke up while it had taken the wick and climbed with it to the ceiling to burn him." 11756 - Uthman bin Muhammad narrated to us, Abdullah said: And I heard it myself from Uthman, Jarir narrated to us, from Yazid, from Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Nu'm, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Fatima is the leader of the women of the people of Paradise, except for what was of Maryam bint Imran." 11757 - Uthman narrated to us, Abdullah said: And I heard it myself from Uthman, Jarir narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Atiyyah al-Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "There will emerge at the end of time, and the appearance of tribulations, a man who will be called: al-Saffah (the Shedder of Blood), and his giving of wealth will be in handfuls." 11758 - Uthman narrated to us, Abdullah said: And I heard it myself from Uthman, Jarir narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "When the sons of so-and-so reach thirty men, they will take the wealth of Allah as a private circulation, the religion of Allah as a deception, and the servants of Allah as slaves." 11759 - Uthman narrated to us, Abdullah said: And I heard it myself from Uthman, Jarir narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The wife of Safwan bin al-Mu'attal came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, while we were with him, and she said: "O Messenger of Allah, my husband Safwan bin al-Mu'attal beats me when I pray, and makes me break my fast when I fast, and he does not pray the dawn prayer until the sun rises." He said, and Safwan was with him, he said: So he asked him about what she said. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, as for her saying that I beat her when she prays, she recites two surahs, and I have forbidden her from them." He said: He said: "If it were one surah, it would have sufficed the people." "And as for her saying that I make her break her fast, she fasts while I am a young man and I cannot be patient." He said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said on that day: "No woman shall fast except with the permission of her husband." He said: "And as for her saying that I do not pray until the sun rises, we are a family for whom that is known; we hardly wake up until the sun rises." He said: "Then when you wake up, pray." 11760 - Harun narrated to us, he said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said: Qurrah bin Abd al-Rahman informed me, from Ibn Shihab, from Ubayd Allah bin Abd Allah bin Utbah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that he said: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, forbade drinking from the chipped part of a cup, and that one should blow into the drink." Abu Abd al-Rahman said: And I heard it myself from Harun.
