Al-Hakam ibn Nafi’ narrated to us, Sa’id ibn ‘Abd al-‘Aziz narrated to us, from ‘Atiyyah ibn Qays, from Qaza’ah ibn Yahya, from Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Allah hears those who praise Him," he would say: "O Allah, our Lord, to You is the praise, filling the heavens, and filling the earth, and filling whatever You will of anything after that. O Possessor of praise and glory, the most truthful of what a servant has said—and we are all Your servants—there is no preventer for what You have given, and the wealth of the wealthy will not benefit them against You."
