Ad-Dahhak ibn Makhlad narrated to us, from Abd al-Hamid ibn Ja'far, my father narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Umayr al-Ansari, who said: I sat with Abdullah ibn Umar and Abu Sa'id al-Khudri. One of them said to his companion: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, mention that 'the sweat will reach the people on the Day of Resurrection.'" One of them said: "Up to his earlobe," and the other said: "It will bridle him." Ibn Umar drew a line—and Abu Asim gestured with his finger from the bottom of his earlobes to his mouth—and said: "I do not see that as anything but the same."
