'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj informed us, Ibn Shihab narrated to me, from 'Amr ibn Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, that he heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri saying: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade *al-mulamasah* (touch-sale), and *al-mulamasah* is that one touches the garment without looking at it. And [he forbade] *al-munabadhah* (throwing-sale), and it is the man throwing his garment for sale before he turns it over and looks at it."
