Musnad Ahmad 110:3
An Addition to the Hadith of Abd al-Rahman ibn Shibl (RA)
زيادة في حديث عبد الرحمن بن شبل رضي الله تعالى عنه
Hadith 110:3
He said: And the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Indeed, the *fussaq* (defiantly disobedient) are the people of the Fire." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, and who are the *fussaq*?" He said: "The women." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, are they not our mothers, our sisters, and our wives?" He said: "Yes, but when they are given, they do not show gratitude, and when they are tested, they do not show patience."
قال: وقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إن الفساق هم أهل النار " قيل: يا رسول الله، ومن الفساق؟ قال: " النساء " قال: رجل يا رسول الله ، أولسن أمهاتنا، وأخواتنا، وأزواجنا؟ قال: " بلى، ولكنهم إذا أعطين لم يشكرن، وإذا ابتلين لم يصبرن "
