An addition to the Hadith of Abu Lubaba ibn Abd al-Mundhir al-Badri (RA)
زيادة في حديث أبي لبابة بن عبد المنذر البدري
Hadith 118:2
'Affan narrated to us, Jarir—meaning Ibn Hazim—narrated to us, he said: I heard Nafi' say: Ibn 'Umar used to order the killing of all snakes, not leaving any of them, until Abu Lubabah al-Badri narrated to him: "That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade the killing of the snakes of the houses."
حدثنا عفان، حدثنا جرير يعني ابن حازم، قال: سمعت نافعا، قال: كان ابن عمر يأمر بقتل الحيات كلهن، لا يدع منهن شيئا حتى حدثه أبو لبابة البدري: " أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن قتل جنان البيوت "
